Introduction
It’s been a while since I put some serious effort into managing my weight. Without strict monitoring I seem to stay around 250 lb. I’ve been listening to Inside Out Weight Loss Podcasts because I have a history of Eating Disorders and I want to do this safely and permanently make a lifestyle change. The podcast stresses the importance of support and sharing your goals and successes, so thats why I signed up here.
My away from motivation is poor health (borderline type 2 diabetes, pressure on joints, mobility), not fitting in seats comfortably, breathing hard going up flights of stairs, pain managements, and stretch-marks. My towards motivation is being able to play with my friend’s kid, gain energy, lose belly fat, increase strength, walk father, be pain free, fit into “regular” store clothing.
My goal is to reach a healthy bmi and body fat percentage which means being under 150 lb.
I’m looking for a buddy, preferably in the Calgary, Alberta, Canada area. Someone who knows what its like to be over 200 lb.
Currently I am a full time student, living with a room mate.
